Through the Worshipful Company of Marketors’ Outreach Programme, Mike Bugsgang produced a marketing plan including recommendations for website and social media enhancements for Dr Johnson’s House.
This small museum in a charming 300-year-old townhouse, is located off Fleet Street, nestled amongst a maze of courts and alleys in the historic City of London. Samuel Johnson, the writer and wit, lived and worked in the house in the middle of the eighteenth century, compiling his great Dictionary of the English Language in the Garret. Dr Johnson may be better known to some for his much quoted “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.”
Managing Director, Mike Bugsgang, met Battersea Power Station’s Lift 109 Manager, Chris Mines during a recce to London’s new attraction and viewing experience. Visitors can make a 109 metres ascent to the top of the north-west chimney of the iconic Battersea Power Station where they can take in stunning 360-degree vistas of London’s skyline. The journey begins in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where through a carefully curated exhibition of original records and multimedia displays, visitors can discover more about the building’s rich heritage, its architectural significance and enduring presence in popular culture. Our Managing Director, Mike Bugsgang, as a Freeman of the City of London, exercised his right to drive sheep across London Bridge. Mike joined other members of his Livery Company, the Worshipful Company of Marketors, for what proved to be a lamb-tastic event 🐑
