As a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, through its Outreach programme, our MD, Mike Bugsgang, assisted The Becket Pageant for London steering group with marketing consultancy.
The event took place in an open air pop-up arena in Guildhall Yard in the City of London on 17/18 June, two of the hottest days of the year. Opened by the Lord Mayor of London the main part of the event was 4 performances of a brand new musical, “London’s Turbulent Son” based on the life of Thomas Becket, London’s former patron saint. The production was written and directed by Emmeline Winterbotham with a score by Vahan Salorian. Surrounding the auditorium was a Livery Crafts Fair with 18 City Livery Companies demonstrating their ancient and modern skills. Mike Bugsgang is pictured on the Worshipful Company of Turners stand at the Fair. For pictures of the show visit the website here
